Repair Café at WMSI
Repair Café is a hands-on, community-powered workshop where adults come together to fix, learn, and share skills. Instead of tossing broken items aside, participants are invited to bring small household objects in need of repair and work alongside WMSI staff and volunteer fixers to troubleshoot, tinker, and bring items back to life.
This workshop is about more than repairs
Make it stand out
it’s about building confidence, reducing waste, and strengthening community connections through collaborative problem-solving. Whether you’re mending a lamp, tightening a wobbly chair, or simply curious about how things work, Repair Café offers a welcoming space to learn by doing.
No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity, a broken item, and a willingness to experiment. Together, we’ll embrace trial and error, celebrate small wins, and rediscover the satisfaction of fixing things ourselves.
What to expect:
Guided, hands-on repair support
Shared tools and materials
A relaxed, judgment-free environment
Opportunities to learn practical skills and meet fellow community members
